The classic hits of the late Dusty Springfield are being brought back to life with Sharon Rowntree’s Dusty and the Divas tribute show.
Patrons, prepare to be dazzled by glitz and glamour and amazing interpretations of a whole range of divas.
Entertainer Sharon Rowntree said the show features popular divas from the 1960s and 1970s and also features her daughter Jessica.
“People will love the characters in the show, they are iconic entertainers that helped shape the music industry like Cilla Black, Nancy Sinatra, Patsy Cline, Karen Carpenter, Dolly Parton Connie Francis and more,” she said.
“I am also proud to be able to get up on stage and do what I do best and be able to share that experience with my daughter.”
As Sharon and Jessica embrace each character in costume and song, patrons will re-live such songs; I Only Want to Be With You, Shout, Downtown, Mr. Postman, 9 to 5, Jolene, and I Only Want to Be With You as well as many more classics.
“We have a lot of fun with the show and enjoy being able to entertain and captivate our audiences,” Sharon said.
The divas fast paced changes and glitzy gowns will leave patrons spellbound as they move across the stage and through the audience with an engaging smile and clever wit.
The Dusty and the Divas show is more than a tribute, it’s awesome songs, great laughs and a visual treat all rolled into one.
