Due to government legislation during the COVID-19 pandemic, HIT Productions’ tours including ‘The Sapphires’ and ‘Summer of the Seventeenth Doll’ for the time being are PAUSING BUT IT WILL NOT BE FOREVER. HIT Productions has been committed to touring Australia since 1999 and during this time has completed 113 tours and 4,000+ performances. We look forward to being back on the road as soon as we are able. We will advise of any revised touring schedules on our website & socials as soon as clarity of recommencement of entertainment venues comes to hand. In the meantime, we hope that you will follow all required protocols and all remain safe and well and also during this time have the opportunity to reconnect with all that is truly important in your worlds.

…And the people stayed home.  And read books, and listened, and rested, and exercised, and made art, and played games, and learned new ways of being, and were still.  Some meditated, some prayed, some danced.  Some met their shadows.  And the people began to think differently.  And the people began to heal.  And in the absence of people living in ignorant, dangerous, mindless, and heartless ways, the Earth began to heal.”
– WORLDOFAWILDCHILD (during COVID-19 pandemic)

It’s also a time to reflect on the past and make dreams for the future…

In 2019 amongst its 6 tours, HIT Productions travelled to 79 locations in a ground breaking tour of ‘The Sapphires’ written and directed by Tony Briggs, reaching 35,000+ people across 27.5+ weeks.  The tour reached both main stage theatres and regional/remote Aboriginal Communities. This tour was made possible by a grant from the Australia Council for the Arts and Creative Victoria. We are so grateful for this support that made this extraordinary tour possible and look forward to our further shows as soon as we can be back on the road with this beautiful production that spreads so much joy wherever it tours. Once again we are so grateful for the grant from the Australia Council for the Arts and Creative Victoria that will see a further 90+ locations see this production.

In 2019 from September to November HIT Productions toured ‘Isaiah Live and Beyond’ to 34 regional locations in Western Australia, Northern Territory, South Australia, New South Wales & Queensland.

Thank you to the Australian Government and the Australia Council for the Arts for supporting this wonderful tour that reached 6000+ people via ‘On Road’ mainstage traditional theatres with the full scale show & ‘Off Road’ to regional/remote Aboriginal Communities with an unplugged version and/or the ‘Beyond’ workshops – an inspirational music workshop which focussed on breaking down barriers and encouraging a ‘No Shame’ message.  The majority of the latter locations received the project free of charge, underwritten by HIT Productions. Superlatives flowed: Joy to watch, Pure talent, Gift from above, Absolutely flawless & Great inspiration.  There is much more work to be done and we look forward to taking this show on the road again.

Click to watch Isaiah talk about and perform his song ‘Spirit’

A storyline about hope & following your dreams, ‘Spirit’ is a profound musical gift from Isaiah to his people inspired though his own connection to his culture & his ongoing work with the Aboriginal Community. It describes the notion of Indigenous people returning to their Spirit after being lost.  It is a song that has powerful resonance to this crisis that is unfolding throughout the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We hope you will find sustenance by listening to Isaiah’s beautiful and healing voice.

Please take special care.
